Our Minneapolis pals Landland are in town today at Jupiter Hotel as part of the Music Fest NW Postermart, which is going on until 10pm. It's a nice manageable show of a dozen or so poster artists and Dan is there with a great selection of their awesome screenprints. Here's a peek at a couple that we picked up!
This beautiful pile of pachinko machines by Jes is for a Ted Leo poster that's getting released at his show tonight at Backspace!
Very funny and detailed poster by Dan that he did for a Coen Brothers themed show. It's full of great hand-drawn fact-checked anachronisms from No Country for Old Men.
Our friend (and LO Artist) Martine Workman is participating in Paper Kingdom tomorrow in Seattle. It's described as, "...a mixed media event interweaving live performances, sound installations and paper art." Should be a good event and it's always fun to see Martine. Stop by and say hi!

We were super excited to receive this bundle of goodies from Lizzy Stewart (of Living Things Vol. 1 and the upcoming Annual Vol. 6 Weekly Planner). If you want to smile when you open your mailbox, you can get your own special package all the way from Edinburgh by visiting her Etsy shop. Thanks Lizzy!
Living Things (and soon to be LO Annual Vol. 6) artist Lizzy Stewart is giving a talk at this weekend's Loop Arts Fair in Leeds. Also she and Jez Burrows will have their own space that will function as a studio while they are there. It definitely sounds like it's a great event. Makes us wish we were in the UK!
