This limited edition Blackwing Volumes is a tribute to animation. The pencils have 6 different designs that are designed to be stacked side by side and then viewed with the included viewfinder to create a seven frame "picket fence animation" of Wile E. Coyote. Redish matte finish, black ferrule with a gold clip, and orange eraser. The graphite is balanced.
The unsharpened pencil measures 5/16" wide (barrel)/3/8" wide (eraser) x 7 15/16" tall. Pencils are made in Japan with California incense cedar and Japanese graphite. Erasers are made in Vietnam. Comes 12 pencils (2 each of 6 designs) in a sturdy black box that can double as a pencil holder. Cardstock sleeve fits over the box with info about the pencil theme.
