King-Cat 72 by John Porcellino

King-Cat is John Porcellino’s long-running self-published zine of his comics and stories. Filled with autobiographical tales, ruminations, and observations, it is always an amusing, thoughtful, and satisfying read.

This issue features a woodchuck emerging from a storm sewer on the cover (which might be related to John making his way out of a tough year), lonely and beautiful moments, a funny LSD story, a Catcalls about squirrels, South Beloit journal, a close encounter with a bat, the King-Cat Top 40, and more.
